This is a Shelley China, England bone china single, pedestal egg cup or egg cup in the Dainty shape and Polka Dot pattern 13748/T and turquoise colorway.

The wonderful blue and white eggcup was made 1940-1966.

The bone china eggcup measures 2.5 inches high by 2 inches in diameter 

The polks dots are hand applied raised blue enamel, so very tactile, and the usual elegance of the Dainty shape.

The eggcup is 2.25 inches high by 2 in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear and has a lovely bell like ping. Lovely!
