This is a Shelley China, England cup and saucer in the Low Oleander shape with the Summer Glory Chintz pattern with heavy burnished gold trim pattern in the mauve and ivory colorway, number 13418/386.

The bone china cup and saucer was made between  1940-1966 when the pottery closed.

The cup is 2.25 inches high by 4.25 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.5 in diameter. The cup and saucer are in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks but there is a slight pattern fading and some gold wear and signs of use seen.

A wonderful addition to your tea table and a wonderful example of what I think is one of the best manufacturers in England.
