English Castles Tea Tin 1930s Biscuit Tin Sage Green Tea Caddy Horners
SKU:
This is a vintage large English tea tin, biscuit tin, tea canister or tea caddy with a an great design of vignettes of English castles on a sage green ground.
The tea tin or tea caddy was made in England in the 1920-1930s by George Horner, Ltd. Durham, England.
The tea caddy measures 7 inches high by 5.5 inches in diameter, is a tapering cylinder and has a friction fit lid with a hexagonal metal lid finial.
The tea tin is in very good ++ used vintage condition with some minor scratches, and quite a bit of wear on the lid from being used.
The interior is in very good used vintage condition and the friction fit lid is tight.
I love these decorative English tea or biscuit caddy tins and they are difficult to find now.
