This is a vintage oval serving platter in a pattern of pheasants or game birds with a burgundy border with metallic gold overlay by Wood & Sons, England made between 1956 and 1962. 

The ironstone oval platter or serving plate measures 9.5 inches high by 10.5 inches long and features a male and female pheasant.

The platter is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and only mild age crazing.

So decorative on a tea, holiday or other dinner table or wall in any room!
