This is a vintage Adams, England purple transferware cup and saucer in a pretty pattern called Italian Scenery in molded ironstone with gold trim from the 1920s.

The purple or mulberry transferware cup is 2 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 6 inches in diameter.

The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with only minor normal crazing from age and material.  This is a rarely seen pattern.
