This a Shelley China, England Dainty Stocks pin dish, bon bon, candy or sweetmeat dish made by between 1940-1966.
The bone china dish or bowl measures 1 inch high by 5.25 inches long across the handles by 4 inches wide and is in the Dainty shape and has pretty floral Stocks pattern with pink trim.
The versatile Shelley chintz dish is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. There are a few mineral specks from manufacturing, which means something blew up in the firing process in the kiln resulting in dust.
The dish or bowl, which would make a great bowl for teabags, mints or lemon slices on the tea table...or jam and cream, is so pretty!
A useful bowl that is perfect for the tea table or for many thing all over the house and is so collectible and so hard to find!
