Tea Strainer RMS Queen Elizabeth Ocean Liner Cunard White Star 1946-1968 Ship
SKU:
This is a vintage souvenir tea strainer from the Cunard White Star Line ocean liner the RMS Queen Elizabeth that was made between 1946-1968.
The over the cup tea leaf strainer tea strainer measures 6.5 inches long by 2.25 in diameter and is made of EPNS silver plate and is in excellent used vintage condition.
The RMS Queen Elizabeth ocean liner ship was built in the 1930s and first in use as a troop ship during WWII.
The Queen Elizabeth was finally used as a passenger liner between Southampton, Cherbourg and New York from 1946 to her decommissioning in 1968.
She was destroyed by a fire in 1975 and scrapped in Hong Kong. Sigh...
A wonderful piece of ocean liner memorabilia.
