This is an antique German or Austrian porcelain vase shaped like a pouch with burnished gold handles and a hand painted landscape scene with cottage dated 1890s.

The pouch or round basket vase measures 6 inches high by 5 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.

The vase may have been a fairing, which was a prize at a Victorian fair, fete or carnival.
