Art Deco Plate England Landscape Bridge 6 Inch Cake Bread Side Plate 1930s Enamel
SKU:
This is a neat art deco cake, tea or bread plate made by Wellington of JH Cope Staffordshire, England from 1924-1930s.
The plate measures 6 inches square and has a sepia transfer design of a landscape with trees, flowers and a humpback bridge that has been hand painted with enamels in orange and yellow with gold trim. So deco!
The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of gold wear and mild crazing which is normal for age and material.
A wonderfully evocative art deco design for the tea table or as a room accent.
