This is a wonderful vintage Jeannette, USA intaglio glass butter dish base or bowl in the Baltimore Pear pattern made between 1950-1972. 

The butter dish base or glass bowl is 1 inch high by 7.5 inches across the reticulated antique shape handles by 6 inches wide.

The pattern is ripe pears and leaves sunk or pressed into the base... intaglio... with a toothed rim.

The butter dish is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. 

Although the dish originally came with a lid, that is not here, but the pretty vintage dish is useful for so many serving ideas, and is so attractive!
