This is a pretty cup and saucer with a design of blue Forget-Me-Nots with gold trim.

The small English bone china teacup or large demitasse sized cup and saucer was made between 1970-1973 by Hostess Tableware, a division of British Anchor which also mad Royal Stafford, a better known sister.

I dearly love Forget-Me-Not teacups, and this design has a slight turquoise tint to the blue which is pleasing, and the lobed and scalloped shape is so elegant!

The cup is 2.5 inch high and the saucer is 5.25 in diameter and both pieces are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. 

The cup holds 4-6 ounces.

A wonderful design and so collectible! I just love the blue and white!
