This is a celluloid cloak or cape closure, fastener or frog from the late Victorian to Edwardian era 1890-1910 and was made in England.
The closure has celluloid links, a crocheted cream or ecru silk cover for a cork that holds the male and female ends of a large snap.
The overall length is 9 inches long and each ink is 1.25 inches long by .75 inch wide, and the snap barrel is .75 inches in diameter.
