This is an antique Edwardian era biscuit barrel or cookie jar made by Wedgwood, England in dark blue and white jasper or jasperware dip dated to 1900-1920s.
The shape is #1672 and the classical design is called Sacrifice Figures in applied white jasper.
The fittings are silver plate EPNS silver plate and the maker is the famous Walker and Hall, Sheffield, England.
The biscuit barrel measures 5.75 inches high without handle by 5.75 in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition. There is some minor plate wear to the lid and a bit of internal discoloration from the oil in the biscuits/cookies stored over a lot of years..
