English Glass Clear Glass Open Salt Dip Paneled Star Bottom 1920s

English vintage

SKU:
  • $ 000

This is an English clear glass salt dip, open salt or salt cellar which is very similar but not identical to the Community pattern by Cambridge Glass Company, USA.

The open salt cellar was made in the 1920-1930s by an unidentified English maker.

The hexagonal paneled salt dip measures 1 inch high by 2 inches in diameter, has a 14 petal flower or star bottom which is different than the US made salt.

The open salt is in very good +++ used vintage condition with one small chip on the top point of a panel.

Salts has so many other uses as well. They can be used as a ring dish, individual sauce server or as a teabag caddy. So cute!
