This is a decorative cast iron fence post finial room or shelf ornament that I got from an American metal caster in the 1980s to use as a decorative accent.

The gold cold painted cast iron finial measures 4.5 inches high and is 2.75 inches wide and is topped with a star.

The finial has fancy arms.

The finial is new and was never used. Great among books and shells, etc on a bookcase or for the top of a stake for a lawn ornament.
