Finel Arabia Finland Enamel Teapot Tea Kettle Sinivuokko Scandanavian 1970s Esteri Tomula
SKU:
This is a retro Finel Arabia, Finland enamel or enamelware teapot or tea kettle in the hard-to-find Sinivuokko, or Hepatica, pattern designed by Esteri Tomula from the 1970s.
This mid century modern Scandanavian design enamelware Finel Arabia kettle or teapot features bright blue stylized flowers with green centers on a white background and black trim and handle.
The kettle or teapot has a heat diffusing bottom that was revolutionary at that time and developed by Finel Arabia.
The enamel on steel tea kettle or teapot measures 5 inches high without counting the handle or 6.5 inches high with the handle up. The tea kettle is 7 inches spout tip to handle edge and is 4.5 inches in diameter. The kettle holds 28+ ounces and pours beautifully!
The kettle is marked Finel Made in Finland on the bottom impressed in the heat diffuser base, so it’s hard to see.
The inside is in excellent condition, as if the tea kettle has never been used, which is really rare.
The enamel teapot or tea kettle is in near excellent used vintage condition with only the most minor and hardly seen signs of use at all. A couple of tiny scratches to the enamel to the base of the handle where it attaches to the pot and teensy black trim paint loss to the spout tip. There is a small chipped area with minor rust on the inside of the pot lid, as seen. Please examine the photos.
What a great retro Scandanavian touch for your kitchen!
