This is an elegant art deco floral, birds and black bands chintz creamer, cream jug or milk pitcher from 1918-1938 in the Ivory Chintz pattern made Crown Ducal, England with gold trim.

The vintage New York shaped creamer... unfortunately the sugar basin didn't survive the trip from the UK... is 3 inches high by 5.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide.

The Ivory Chintz creamer is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks, and only the most minor signs of gold wear and very mild discoloring at the bottom due to the fay content of the cream, normal for this material and age . 

This pattern is not often seen, but was very popular in the 1920s. In the 1930s it was adapted with roses around the black border and that version was named Roseland, and they perfectly complement each other.
