This is a dinner plate by a E. Wedgwood Staffordshire, England maker in the pattern Liberty Blue depicting Independence Hall in Philadelphia in blue transfer ware.
The patriotic transferware ironstone plate measures 9.85 inches in diameter and was a design made in commemoration of the American Bicentennial in 1976 that was first available at Ben Franklin Savings & Loan and then at grocery stores with accumulated points throughout the country.
The pattern included many patriotic scenes and was in production from 1975-1976 when it was discontinued.
The transferware plate is in excellent used vintage condition and very decorative.
