This is an unusual antique heavy felted embossed Christmas postcard with a a snow scene vignette, holly and the metallic gold letters A Merry Christmas.

The divided back postcard has not been postally used, but was used as a gift card or hand delivered holiday greeting card.

The postcard was made In Germany, and the marking no 606 with a symbol of a monogram of the initials IS.

The postcard was addressed to Mrs. R. Lindy, Sparta, Michigan and came with a collection of postcards from 1900-1910s.
