This is a set of 6 place cards or name cards with applied flowers and molded leaves made in a set called La Fleur in their original fitted box. Names are written on them with a grease penceil or other removeable marker.
The place card holders was made by Shafford, Japan 1950-1960s and has the original Japan sticker.
Each of the floral bone china place cards measure 1 inch high by 2.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.
Each has hand painting on the raised leaves and each has 2 applied 3 dimensional flowers.
There are 2 with blue, 1 with purple, one with yellow and 2 with white flowers. The set is in very good condition, but there are some minor applied flower edge chips on 2 petals and a petal off on one of the flowers. The box has foxing.
