This is a rare Shelley China, England cup and saucer in the Rose and Red Daisy pattern number 13439 with the highly unusual matte black exterior on a Ripon shape with burnished gold foot, handle and trim made between 1940-1966.

The bone china cup and saucer has the striking matte black exterior with the Rose and Red Daisy on a pale yellow cup interior. The cup is 3 inches high and the saucer 5.65 in diameter.

The tea cup and saucer is in very good +++ used vintage used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.

A fabulous set that is rarely seen and SO elegant.
