This is a 1940s red transferware tea cup and saucer made by Enoch Woods, England or Woods and Sons in the Woods Ware line and English Scenery pattern.

The ironstone rural scene cup measures 2.5 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.65 in diameter with the scenic or landscape design with a foliage and flower border.

The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks with only a couple of mineral specks from the kiln, which is quite normal for this age and manufacturing. A very pretty pattern and very collectible.   So elegant!
