Rosina England Cup and Saucer With Plate Art Deco Stylized Floral 1948-1952
SKU:
This is a neat art deco design hand painted on transfer floral teacup trio or cup and saucer with matching plate made by Rosina, England between 1948 and 1952, pattern number 4921.
The swirl molded bone china teacup trio with art deco handle and gold trim features hand painted daisy like flowers on a blue grey transfer that have been further hand accented with enamel paint.
The cup is 2.5 inches high, the scalloped saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the plate is 8 in diameter in an art deco square shape with angled corners.
All three pieces are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. There are a few glaze bubbles and inclusions, a mild discoloring of the plate, and the cup and saucer is a shade lighter than the plate indicating that the cup and saucer was in use more than the plate.
What a lovely addition to any tea party!
