Set 4 Royal Staffordshire Blue Transferware Glencoe Side Plates 1879s Salad Mid Victorian
SKU:
This is a set of 4 antique English blue transferware side or salad plates made in the Staffordshire region of England 1850-1870s in a pattern called Glencoe by Royal Stafford, England.
The mid Victorian era ironstone 7 inch in diameter plates have an early Aesthetic Movement and geometric blue transferware design on a molded and scalloped shape with gold trim.
The platea are in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but do have some kiln dust specks which is normal for this age, and gold wear.
A wonderful example of Victorian era tea ware.
