This is a Shelley china, England coffeepot or tall teapot made between 1918 and 1925.
The coffee pot or teapot is in the Chatsworth pattern number 11065 and in the rarely seen Stanley shape.
The bone china teapot or coffeepot measures 9 inches long by 6 inches high by 6 inches long by 3.75 inches in diameter., and holds 16 ounces, which was the normal capacity for after dinner coffee at that time, served with liquers.
It features a pretty design of a lavender buds with a pink rose and lavender flower border and gold trim.
The coffeepot is in near excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations and looks as if never used. There is a bit of kiln dust, or mineral impurities that happen during firing, which is normal for this period.
The pattern is so very pretty!
