This is a set of 4 dark brown Victorian high button shoe buttons, gaiter buttons or glove buttons with a metal center made in England 1870-1900 with painted metal shanks.

The buttons are in a style called Pin Shanks, because of the metal showing through on the top, measures 3/8 inch in diameter.

The buttons are in very good ++ original used vintage condition. There is some paint wear on the buttons.  

Shoe buttons are used now by costumers, re-enacters and crafts people who want authentic Victorian antique buttons for their projects. They are also collected.

This is from a large and varied collection of English shoe buttons we acquired in England that we will be adding.
