This is an 1890s sterling silver souvenir spoon for Illinois by Mechanics Sterlng Company, Attleboro Mass.,USA, a subsidiary of Watson Silver Company, USA with an engraved bowl. 

The spoon is 5.5 inches long and the word Illinois is bright cut hand engraved in a Gothic script in the bowl of the spoon.

There is a gothic lower case name bo engraved on the finial. The spoon has a pretty embossed floral design on the handle.

The sterling silver souvenir spoon is in excellent used vintage condition and is a great commemorative spoon.
