This is a lovely Royal Tara, Ireland bone china cup and saucer with a design of the fabulous Tara Brooch now in the National Museum of Ireland from the 1980s.
The bone china historic jewel design teacup and saucer features the Irish national treasure brooch dating to 750 A.D made of bronze, gold, enamel and Amethysts with gold trim to the cup and saucer.
The pretty cup measures 3 inches high and the saucer measures 5.5 inches in diameter and the set was made in Galway, Ireland.
The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.
A wonderful addition to the tea table, an afternoon tea tray or a teatime for St. Patrick's Day or an Irish collection.
