This is a pretty Violets patterned tea strainer and under bowl made in the 1980s but a small and short lived pottery called David Michael China, Staffordshire England using a popular decal of Violets used by many other potteries including Royal Patrician, Allyn Nelson, Crown Dorset and others.
The 2 piece sweet purple Violets over-the-cup tea strainer and bowl overall is 1.5 inches high to the top of the handle by 5 inches long including the strainer handle and is 3 inches in diameter.
The drip bowl base measures 1 inch high by 2.75 inches in diameter and has gold trim on the handle.
The tea strainer and bowl is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
Very cute and useful as well as a fun decorative piece for your tea table or personal tea time!
