This is a wonderful pirate's treasure chest shaped tea tin, tea caddy or biscuit tin with a heraldic crest or coat of arms on the top, hinged lid and hasp closure and a zinc plated interior.
The tea chest tea tin made in the 1960s by The Tin Box Company, England and made in Hong Kong.
The tin measures approximately 4 inches high by 6.25 inches long by 4 inches wide.
The tin is in very good +++ condition with no dents, a tight lid and finial and only some minor surface signs of use.
The interior is in in very good +++ condition with minor plate loss as seen in the photos. There are a few scratches, but nothing major.
The cute and versatile tin is in very nice condition indeed! I love these vintage tea tins!
