This is a beautiful Wedgwood, England blue jasper or jasperware teapot made for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1953.
The gorgeous commemorative teapot has white applied laurel leaf and berry wreaths around the profiles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, crowns and with further wreaths around the lid, handle and spout and a shiny glazed interior.
The blue jasperware coronation teapot measures 5 inches high by 9 inches long by 6.5 inches in diameter and is fully marked with the commemoration on the bottom.
The coronation tea pot is in excellent used vintage condition, and doesn't look like it was ever used except for display.
A wonderful addition to any tea table as well as a highly collectible piece of royal memorabilia.
