This is a pair of classic style English Edwardian era silver plated EPNS sugar tongs with unusual spade shaped ends made 1900-1910s by Henry Potter, Sheffield England measuring 5 inches long.
The sides are the classic design and are marked A1 which was a superior plating process. The sugar tongs are beautifully made.
The sugar tongs are in excellent used vintage condition and would be a beautiful way to pass the sugar cubes at your next tea party just like they do at The Ritz.
