This is a set of 17 of Victorian or Edwardian era lipstick red painter metal high button shoe buttons, gaiter buttons or glove buttons with metal pin shanks dating 1890-1910.

Each button is 1/2 inch in diameter and have what is usually called a pin shank, and both the button and the shank are painted.

The buttons are in original, antique used condition, with great patina. There are some scratches and paint loss from use and years of being in a button box.

The buttons are great for sewing, eyes, clothes, costumes and embellishments for all sorts of crafts, or your Victorian or button collection. Wonderful grouped in a bowl.
