This is a  Shelley China, England art deco design cup and saucer in the Regent shape with a design called Swirls in the brown colorway with gold trim made 1940-1952. The tea cup and saucer is made of bone china with bands of brown and gold on white with an art deco design ring handle. The cup is 2.85 inches high, the saucer is 5.65 in diameter and both are in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but there is wear to the gold trim on the cup rim and one spot on the top of the ring handle. A wonderful deco set.
